The things that scare me the most before doing them, usually end up being the most rewarding.
When I first started to learn how to put my feet up over my head in headstand it was hella scary. Yet, the closer I got the more excited I got. Sure I worked on my shoulder strength and core strength, but once I pushed past the fear I got there! It was so exciting I wanted to show everyone. If I never went out of my comfort zone in my yoga practice I never would have got there. Even writing this now I am realizing that I am again sticking into my comfort zone when it comes to my yoga practice. Time to expand!
Life is too short to get stuck in your comfort zone!
Some other things that put me out of my comfort zone that turned out to be so rewarding are; telling my husband I loved him, travelling to India on my own, quitting my comfy desk job to pursue a career in movement, putting myself out there in basically any way, and having kids!
What is it that you want to do? Even though it may be hard, that usually means the reward will be that much more sweet.
